Portrait problems

Hi.

Portrait 2.2 installs fine on my 6651. I can sign into .net with no problems and initiate chats with other Messenger contacts, but, I can't receive their messages. Anyone have Portrait working on a 6651? Any ideas of where to look?

That sounds like a very unusual situation.

Can you provide us with details on your internet connection setup / hardware.
Also Portrait 2.3 is out now.

I have a fairly simple setup, wireless from my 6651 to a dlink 624, then onto adsl. My MSN /trillium etc chat progs are all fine from my desktop machine. The 6651 surfs/networks/ftps fine. My Jornada 565 MSN works fine. I'll download Portrait 2.3 again, but IIRC that is a desktop only build.

To send files to another contact you need to be connected to a ILS server.

You can use a Babel Fish or Google Translator (not show screenshots).

Is portrait supposed to make a sound when someone responds? I saw it in the options but still nothing happens, which is very annoying.

IT only does it the very first time. Unlike Windows MSN which will chirp if the window isn't in focus.
