728 connection problem

Greetings, all...
My 728 can't hold a dialup connection. It does connect, but immediately disconnects. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks....

Yes, it gets past checking my password and seems to make a momentary connection, but then immediately disconnects. It happens so quickly that it's hard to follow what it's doing.

By the way, does this board have a way to enable notifying me when someone responds? I can't seem to find it anywhere on this screen. Thanks....

Hi, Yes there is. Its called "Actions->Toggle e-mail notification" right at the bottom right hand corner. Obscure ... Yes .... but its there.
