I use PocketWinc PC Magazine freeware edition myself. It was the only program I could find that supported my Symbol CF WiFi card and only then if I install the Pocket PC 2002 drivers and place iphlpapi.dll(which is strangely missing from the J720) in \Windows. I think it supports a load of other WiFi cards, so you may want to try that if MiniStumbler won't work. They used to have a CE 4.0 HPC version available, but I don't see it anymore. The free Pocket PC version if better anyway though. Its free! The only downside is that it needs the Pocket PC MFC runtimes. The simplest solution I have found is to place both mfcce300.dll and olece300.dll into the program directory. After that, you should be all set and with the added bonus of being able to run any other Pocket PC program that uses MFC as long as Pocket Winc is still running. You can also hexedit it if you want, but I'm too lazy. ;P

An older, limited freeware version of Pocket Winc is available here:
http://pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=1052
Download the Pocket PC 2002 version for HPC 2000 devices.

For a 30 day trial of the latest version, check out their website at:
http://www.cirond.com/

The required dll file, iphlpapi.dll can be found here:
http://www.geocities.com/yvemonroe/

You will also need DIC's CeMenu 0.9b8 aygshell which I will attach to this post

If you have the Socket/Symbol card, the drivers can be found here:
http://www.socketcom.com/support/support_wlan.asp?Type=CF2

The only Symbol/Socket drivers that work with PokcetWinc are the Pocket PC 2002 drivers, so use them. The PPC2002 config program also requires the Pocket PC MFC runtimes, so make sure a Pocket PC app that uses MFC is running before you insert the card. They are not needed for the driver itself to work though, so once you set it up, you can just ignore the error that appears when it can't find the PPC version.

now to vjurkas and anyone who has a cisco 350 and can't use ministumbler with this card.
pocketwinc does support the card!
so does pocketwarrior and it's even free. you only need mfcce, olece, aygshell (cemenu - 16,5 K), doclist.

Good news! But the bad news is that I cannot run it Which of the 3 CABs has to be installed? Have you installed iphlapi.dll in to Windows directory? How about other DLLs? WHich set of DLLs have you used? I have tried couple of different combinations without any success.

which one did you try? pocketwinc or pocketwarrior? iphlpapi doesn't need to be in win folder, you can put it in pocketwinc folder (only pocketwinc needs it).
i used the Cirond pocketWinc.PPC202_StrongARM.CAB for pocketwinc.
the dll's that are needed: mfcce, olece, aygshell (16,5k version - from cemenu), doclist. + iphlpapi for pocketwinc, of course.

but, i'm afraid, you'll have to resort to hexediting as you're already using a wlan driver that calls mfcce300. i'm sure that's the problem and that's why it wouldn't run.
you should hexedit the cab file before installing, it's easier. pocketwinc will need two hexedit in the cab file (two instances of mfcce calls), pocketwarrior only one.
and watch out: mfcce300 (renamed to 301!) and olece300 (doesnt't need to be renamed!) calls mfcce also a couple of times

anyway, i'd recommend pocketwinc. it's not free (i use the 2.0 version, that's the newest afaik), but it's fast, can see closed ssid's (at least mine, i haven't tried others yet), and can do even ip release/renew.

Cmonex, thanks! All I had to do was double click on the CAB file (Winc). Everything else was already on my Jornada. I did not have to add any of the DLLs. And it really works with Aironet!
