I just got a Jornada 728.
It is in factory condition. What Operating system is it.
If I get a wifi card will it work with any hot spot in any country.
Is it better to get a G3 card or wont the Jornada take it.

I am sorry for my ignerance it looks a great machine i just need to learn how to get the best out of it.

The way you're going about it is all wrong.
Read the site rules on the homepage, multi & cross posting *could* get your questions ignored permanently.

Again on the double posting, but I'll live and let live so long as there are no repeats.

It is HPC2000 on a StrongARM processor. HPC2000 is based upon Windows CE 3.0, but it is not in its own right Windows CE 3.0 - just based upon.
If you get WiFI you can connect to any WiLAN which supports that Wireless protocol and for which you have security access. You cannot connect to any LAN, however so long as the security and protocol matches you can connect to any WiLAN anywhere in the world.

Please leave 3G discussion to your other thread.
