| This is Mouse. His head is empty
He screams his head off in the middle of the night and wakes me up. So what does he want?
An audience (me ) to watch him eat. Good grief. |

| Looks like Manndi (pron. Marndie), the cat of a friend. Saying that all black cats look like Manndi. |

All hail Nermal!
Quote Uh.... you have a pet Catherine.... True! True! A Catherine is the ultimate in Cat-like demeanour, living in hedonistic fortitude. Cat's only want you when they want feeding, Catherines only want you when they're bored, want to whinge or make marriage proposals (rofl ). The rest of the time, they're off pestering el parentis.
Impressive! You got it spot on! |

| Only after many arduous, painful years can one consider themselves a true Catherine owner...
Owner is the wrong word. You don't chose them, they chose you (whether you like it or not )
I'm just along for the ride.

| Ah yes, but your friends cat likely has more brainpower than Mouse. I should restate that. Mouse isn't stupid but the world does revolve around him, or so he thinks, and acts.
He probably has a complex of some sort being name Mouse and all. |

Baby Pic
<snip>
My cat Nermal. I got him as a left-over from a mixed nest of cats, and he's my precious. He means so much to me, I used him for the whole look of DVD Catalyst.
I brought him with me when I moved overseas 5 years ago. He's 6 now.
He's an inside cat, but still has his claws, and I keep getting nice scratches on my arms to remind me of him having them. He's a very loving cat, and is always around me, either asleep or anoying me till I get him food.
That first pic looks like a picture of a fake cat, like a toy one or something. Maybe it's the eyes... they look like they're glass eyes or something Edited by mscdex 2006-03-24 7:50 PM

| That's what Nermal wants you to think, he gets into your head and meddles - like it's a ball of yarn. Then pow, just when you least expect it... Think about it! How many cats do you know with a software application build around them?

| I guess I'm the first with a dog? His name is Pepper, he is a Blue Healer. Don't have a pic on this computer though. He likes to hide my keys, and lock me out of my house. |

can we draw a relation here from the posts we got so far?
HPC owners usually have cats?
It makes perfect sense. An H/PC is just like a cat:
They sit on your lap from time to time, they sit on your desk from time to time.
They wake you up in the morning.
There are quirky ones, and only their owners can appreciate the quirks.
We shell out when they get sick.
Every single one leaves a lasting impression with it's owner
We hate to give them up
We ask fellow owners for help.
We spend ridiculous amounts of money on necessities (H/PC's - batteries and cables : cats - food and litter ) and accessories.
There are days we spend ridiculous amounts of time with them, and other days they get little attention at all.
We name them.
Some question why they should be allowed to exist, while others love them so much as to save every last dying one. |

| I can see we need more dogs here! We have two: One is an ex-racing greyhound and the other a one year old yorkie poo (I don't know how to spell it, my wife got him ). The grey is a calm, dignified lady; the yorkiepoo a hell raising pup. As you can see, they get along great!
