| Sounds like the download timed out before it finished.
Try downloading it again from one of the mirrors in the Sync Software section, and give it another go. |

Sorry guys, but you are all off the mark here.
Windows CE 1.0x does not support CABInst generated files, so to CE 1.0, .cab files are not executable.
They either have to be moved up to the device by some means (CF, Modem, Null Modem or H/PC Explorer - or host installed.
Maybe I should get a CE 1 device, end the listing on my CE 2 device. And help more

| As the Beatles said (sort of)...
"All you need is One,
All you need is One, One,
CE One is all you need" |

| I found out something. The main download site for Windows CE 1.0 does not have the full file needed. It is only 2.7MB instead of the 3.7MB. The mirror sites with the sip files work. Thanks all for the help.

| APPARENTLY Symantec pcAnywhere for Windows CE 1.0 HAS been made freeware and is (still) readily available on Symantec's Web site...
I imagine it would be a mission to find though- imagine how many files they must have archived! |

| I have pcAWCE archived.
Show me proof that it's been made freeware, and I'll make it available.
It only works with older PCAW clients, not the latest.. 8 I think is the limit (but don't quote me) |

| I never said I knew for certain that it had been made freeware, just that I'd heard that rumor... |
