Interesting. Well, I learned a while ago (sorry, I really don't know where - this was before I left the forum...), but somewhere it said that pcanywhere ce was released by Symantec, and that it could be found on their ftp server (it linked to the folder). I went to the link, and that folder had since disappeared, and I could not find it anywhere on the server. That page was a few years old, so obviously Symantec phased it out of existence, and I did not know that there was still a copy of it left on the web. And now velo.8k has it.

Also, if you go to the velo.8k page, the site that it links to for information on the device is gone - as it states that it is discontinued software. So Symantec released it for free, took it off their servers after a few months, and now it should be hosted on Factor.

I may put it on my site if I find a use for it, but now with rdp and everything, I don't need the software anymore. (besides - I heard it sucked)

Joe Blow got it from a discussion he and I had about PCAnywhere, and he got it from my friend Matt Gillard, posting it up to the site.

You still need an older version of the PCAW client to use it to full effect.

Until someone shows me a Symantec press release, the answer is going to be no
