| I hope so and wish .. I do not know if it will look like other versions of CE.. They will probablt add Vista-esque elements to it much like CE 4 and 5 are XP-esque.. |

| Well, as C:Amie has pointed out, CE is just the operating system, not a platform, so it's too early to tell what devices will use it. (It should be noted that a large percentage of devices using Windows CE are not consumer devices - things like medical equipment, gasoline [petrol] pumps, etc. This is why the popular belief that CE stands for "Consumer Electronics" is a myth. ) |

internet? only 1999 here and even then i couldn't use it (only my brpther who ordered it ), had to wait 1 year
June 1987, well my father that is, he had almost the fastest available modem, with a whopping speed of 2,400bps (! ), wow!! That beats our current connection!
Just out of cuiosity, will CE6 bridge the gap between x86 windows and other platforms, e.g. have some form or ability to run some Windows apps onto the devices? Or are specialist and re-written programs still needed? |

Another likely myth, as C:Amie points out in "History of Windows CE," though it does make sense (and it's what I thought it meant, too, when I first heard of the OS in the late '90s ). |

| I know that you knew that. Actually, there's something to be said for having a moniker that stands for nothing in particular - you can use your own imagination. (On another site somewhere, I saw where someone put Windows CE, Windows ME, and Windows NT together and got Windows CEMENT. ) |
