Hallo,
first time in forum!
Just downloaded Acrobat Reader "arceMIPSr.HPC_4000" and copied the MIPS-file to my HPC 2000. Running it the first time it showed an error: 0xc0000005 in: AcroRd32.exe, adress: 004df0bc. The device runs Windows CE 3.00.126 on MIPS VR4122. I stored the software on a CF- Card and tried to start it from there.
Who can help?

You are getting a memory exception error, it could well be down to the fact that the compile is for MIPS4000 and your cpu is MIPS4122

Actually Microsoft make a difference sometimes between the 3000, 4000 and 4100.
I'm just entertaining possibilities here.

When you installed if you were asked to overwrite anything, did you say "yes"?

Hallo,
I found out, that my Acrobt Reader is working now! At least it seems so!

But since that time "Tweaks2k2" doesn't work anymore, showing the message:

"Das Steuerelement mainpic ({ 5D28FD29-C320-11D2-AE1A-00608CC01367}) konnte nicht erstellt werden." Meaning something like: "controling element ... could not be created."

Could there be a connection?

Uninstall Reader and see if T2K2 starts woking again.

It is distinctly possible that it has broken it.

Hello,

perfectly right!
After deinstalling the Acrobat Raeder, Tweaks2k2 worked again fine.

PC-Counselor wrote: "... the problem is with the mfg file -- (what- or where- ever that is) -- includet in the Acrobat Reader. You have to uninstall it."

Franz Josef,

Go into \Windows\

Find the file:
MFCCE300.dll (it is a hidden system file)

File > Cut
Place it in \Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat\Reader (or wherever you installed Acrobat to)

You should find tweaks2k2 works as does Acrobat.
