Hi, I recently bought a second-hand Casio Cassiopeia A11. It's perfect, but it doesn't seem to be able to open .jpg files (from my digital camera). Is there any free program available? Seems like a rather simple task...??

Any info more than welcome.
Cheers.
please reply or mail to casio -at- stylishmedia . com

many thanks!

A 1.x image viewer... I cannot think of any, so you may be out of luck.
There wasn't all that much 1.x software to begin with. It only lasted 11 months before 2.00 came out.

PIE does support JPEG's however the sizes we may be talkign about from modern digital cameras, CE1 will just fail it out of hand because there is just too much information for it to crunch.

Congratulations on the 200th post.

But ROFL, you need to swat up on CE1. Henri's site is for CE3 for a start.
There is very little out there for CE1. Very little.

Would it be extremely difficult to make a simple JPG viewer for CE1?
Is anyone willing to try, or assist me writing one?

(I know CE1 is old-fashioned... That's the whole point of this website, right?)

Not if you know C++
I don't program

To code for CE1 you need VS 5/6 and the CE1 Toolkit. None of which are free.

Indeed it is. This site was founded on CE1, long, long after CE1 became a blip in Microsofts history.
