It's an application to which many of us are already familiar, but if you are not, it might surprise you that even Windows CE was gifted with one of Microsoft's "Plus!" branded releases.

Historically providing additional integrated functionality and tweaking power to the standard Windows toolset. Plus! has been a constant to Windows releases since Windows 95, and to date the Handheld PC remains the only Windows CE platform release to be given the Plus! treatment.

John Ottini takes a look at the popular, yet easily overlooked Handheld PC Professional release in our latest review here on HPC:Factor.

Read the review and have your say here on the forums.

Hi, John,

Another fine piece, and thank you for it. I had forgotten that Plus lets you spellcheck emails, glad to be reminded. Mute has been indispensible, however--an app I use all the time. And alt-tab, of course.

Reviews of MS products such as this always make me wonder what still lurks on the R/D shelves, and will we ever see it.

Jake

The link is dead for some reason, although the review was great, I could get a lot of use out of most of this software.

It's not been changed, it's just missing 'http://' because I literally copied it from the source document.

Issue resolved.

Kirby, if you have been on the board for a while you will be aware that the board rules stipulate upper bounds on thread dredging, especially where your request isn't exclusively related to the original thread. Rules: http://www.hpcfactor.com/qlink/?linkID=2

3 & 4 can be useful, there is no need for #2. 1 is the development SDK for your device.

Not to pile on poor Kirby.....but since you brought it up....Kirby, please try to avoid double posting on different forums! Other than that, it's all good.

It's in the downloads section, I am not sure how much easier we can possibly make this for you.

I don't think that this website is hard to download from, but here is where you can get it from Microsoft

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Browse.aspx?displaylang=en&produ...

Count down 13 to the MS Plus for HPC.
