Mips - linux other than NetBSD

Anybody get a different version of Linux running on a Mips machine instead of NetBSD?

Does it matter? They all do the same thing if you configure them correctly...

Sadly, it looks like MIPS support has fallen behind some of the other handheld platforms. What information I've found so far is woefully out of date and full of dead links - activity seems to have died off around the turn of the century.

I suppose what's really needed is a "JLime for MIPS" project to kickstart things again.

Netbsd for mips is very current, is it not?

what about handling suspend...

Well, that would be up to the netbsd people.

I think they are better at it on mips than we are on arm..

NetBSD isn't Linux. That's the difference.
