| On my 3C589C with Combo-Dongle there is on backplate:
EA=00609724AC092
some barcode
SN: 6GQ24AC092
PN: 16-0020-000 REV: D
On laptop (some old 233MHz with Win2k ) it works fine, but not on 620LX German.

| Any chance of you getting the download from the CESD and sending in the diagnostic settings fragenmensch?
You need a bootable floppy and that download. That's all. |

| Thanks for that, I have updated the XLS file.
I would expect your card, based upon current data, to work on 2.00, SH3 2.11 and Arm HPC2000. It wont work on MIPS 2.11, or a non-english device. That's the theory we need to disprove. |

this thing has the NSP in ROM already even though it's 2.0... hm i wonder if that has something to do with the problem...

| i have read all of the availible tutorials and forum posts about the 620 and 3com card and it seems like they should be very compatible. They aren't working though, i have done a hard reset then installed sp1, then NSP, then the drivers made by HPC factor. There is never a icon in the system tray when i tell it where the driver is, but the card does blink. It works in my laptop just fine but not my poor 620.
Please help a n00b! |

Are you sure that your 620 is a 2.00 device and not a 2.11 device? |

| I don't know how to tell if it is C or D. It is 100% 2.0. English version.

| You can use the diag tool to be sure, but chances are you have an original version of the 589 chipset |
