I recently purchased a MP 790 and have thought about linux/unix/some other OS.....but there are 3 things I really need to make it worthwhile: a decent GUI, a good word processor (comparable to TextMaker), and a good browser. Can any of the options available provide these things?

Hi! I thing NetBSD will be just what you need. It has a lot of networking drivers (I have used 3Com 3c589 and Cisco AIR-PCM350) + you can use pkgsrc to build IceWM, dillo...

I have an NEC MP 800 that I would love to have a Linux distro (with graphical interface). I tried downloading the files per the instruction list, but the links to Russia seem to be bad. The Device has Win CE 2.11, and I want to be able to use the unit for IM, web browsing, mp3's, etc. I don't have drivers that work for my wireless card and the IE version is pretty outdated. Any help is appreciated!
