Has anyone seen a dosemulator other than pocketdos for the MIPS device?

Are there any DOSBox ports for MIPS out there?

Sadly, I don't think there are any DOSBox ports for MIPS. Many of them seem to use one of those darn GCC CE ports and every darn one of those I saw seems to only be able to target ARM. (unless someone can show me otherwise) ;( If you find a DOSBox that has source and comes with an Embedded Visual C++ project, I'll try compiling a MIPS version for ya.

Well, I don't know what kind of source the 3 DOSboxes I know of (n0p's, Mamaich and Pocketwall) have?

Anyway, seems DOSbox is ARM/XScasle only.

Hey. You may be in luck!

While most of the Windows CE DosBox ports seem to need one of those ARM only GCC compilers for WinCE, one version I came across called "PocketDosBox" uses Embedded Visual C++ 4.0! This is wonderful news! The Windows CE 4.2 Standard SDK can target all supported Windows CE processors and offers some Pocket PC compatability as well. It may be possible to get this Dosbox port to compile for MIPS and other processors using this SDK and a bit of hacking. I'll try building it for ARM/x86/MIPS(maybe SH3/SH4 too) and see what happens. Wish me luck!

Here is the PocketDosBox site for those interested.
