| Only after the order shows up. |

| Possibly off-topic but... how hard would it be to switch the device to the XP style shell instead of the 9x style? Can it be done using Geared2003's method, or something similar? |

| The actual 'proper' CE4 XP style shell needs to be bundled into the OS image from Platform Builder. Geared2003's customisation system will work under CE4 to tart the UI up, can is essentially what is used to give CE4 the XP look in the first place - except it's integrated into the events system |

| Does anyone have any tips on regaining any battery life? It wont charge at all now (will go, at most, to 3%), and only works on the mains. It hard resets after about 5 minutes off mains. |

| How many times have you deep discharged this device now? |
|
|
|
| I did it intentionally just once. It carried on gradulaly losing capacity and now its impossible not to deep discharge it when unplugged from the mains (defining deep discharge as it hard-resets). It will occassionally creep up to about 35%, but it doesnt seem to do it often. |

| That was the reason I said to let it go totally out because it seems to reset it self so it reads the battery correctly.
I found mine out by mistake since I stopped using it and when I was get ready to sell it I powered it up while looking at your post and it stated 79% from the 52%.
It now states 72% after being up at 79% awhile.

Do you mean the batteries fading out or fading in? If its fading out it just seems that the cells have had it (its doing the same as my iPaq did ). Hoping to get some new ones (2600Mah ) if you have no spares. Any idea how much batteryspace charge for postage to the UK? Edited by chazco 2006-10-02 3:15 AM

| Yes, but I don't understand how they went virtually overnight from working fine to full scale failure. They were completely tested and holding their own at 100%. I have it on my little test sheet. Did the package arrive ok? Was it wet? Dented? Anything?
I'm still making you my new cell priority, I just need them to arrive with me here.
It's quite a lot if you ship direct, which is why I proxy ship through someone else. |

| How about organising another group order (like your 2000 Mah one ), but for the 2600Mah? I'm sure there would be a few takers (me included ).
