| I still dont understand what you mean by "going down". Btw... did you know that your posts are being doubled up?
Also, does anyone know how to change the resolution when using an external monitor with the Smartbook, or cant it be done? |

| Look at my last post!
Going down means going dead but see my last post.

| It shouldnt be going dead... I though C:Amie was putting new batteries in them all. I looked at your last post, still didnt get what you meant though. |

| My computer went dead while I was away and I lost everything!
Since it has no backup battery when it goes dead , you lose everything.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My batteries were new from SmartBook 100% charge showing after about 3 months it dropped to 78% then with in 2 days 66% then last week it showed 57%.
This was over the last 3 months when it dropped from 78% to 57% after recharging it. 66% to 57% was in less than a week.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I recharged this morning and went to check on it and it now says 79%! Yes!!!!!
I got home and decided to recharge the G138, I was expecting to see 57% or less but I was surprise to see it go back up and see it to 79%.

| Still showing 79%, hot damn! let it go dead as in hard reset. do a back up first.
Charge it up and see what the battery life states.

| I dare not let it run down completely. It wont go past 70% now, i'm getting worried. |

| if you don't take the risk or trying it out, you will never know.

| This may be a bit late, but nice review, C:Amie.. I read it.. It looks like a cool device and maybe in the future, could be a future choice for a new H/PC for me, (after if/when I get the MobilePro 900).. |

I'm charging it now, will post results when it finishes. |

|
|
| ok I will wait for your results.
It is kind of wild that all of a sudden when it went completely dead it resets to the true battery life.

and is it still saying 70%?
these are a little low values so it's probably not a calibration issue.. but who knows.. Ceya's solution is worth a try if really nothing else helps (yes that means fully discharging the battery, it is not a good idea if the battery is not degrading constantly - but when it is, then worth a try ) |

| Still at 79% ! It better than 57% and going dead in 45mins to 1 hr. Just try it the batteries won't keel over.

| Yep, thats still at 70%. If i deep discharge and it breaks i'll have a very expensive door-stop, so i really dont want to do that. |
