Hello all. I'd be interested in seeing the group's opinions on their favorite/most-used/can't-do-without/most fun software for the Jornada 720. I'm a late adopter (I recently switched over from a PocketPC) and am coming up the learning curve.

Thanks,

Paul

Hum, interesting OK... this changes weekly depending on what I'm beta testing / reviewing / breaking

Keep in mind that I'm a PDA H/PC user rather than one of the Laptop replacement H/PC users. My devices get used to create this site so spend a lot of time being hard reset - which doesn't help.

In no particular order:

TRE Regedit
Developer One ScreenSnap 4
VNC
vxUtil
Betaplayer
wodeon
Windows CE Ent Pack
Portrait
GAPI
Virtual CE

Don't forget the top-10's of our review guru's:

I mostly just use it as PDA with a web browser, so the list is short and boring...

Pocket Outlook *
Internet Explorer *
MiniStumbler
Pocket Streets 2001
Adobe Reader 2.0
MediaPlayer *

* built-in applications

Note that I recently became a Smartphone user, so the "look up a phone number" routine is gone from the HPC usage. As well the 2 minute break times are often filled with the phone games instead. Don't tell C:Amie...

I didn't include the integrated apps , that's cheating.

They give you 2 minute breaks! Darn right you shouldn't have told me, you lazy so and so!

Thank you, all. Now, to see if some of those are still available in an HPC version!

Have a great day~

Course they are, we're a H/PC dedicated site.

Except for Acrobat 2, you can get Acrobat 1 from the downloads section.
