I have a Cassiopeia 2400W without a serial cable. Does anyone have a serial cable or dead Cassie they want to sell?

I think it's the same link cable (16-connector edge type to 9-pin serial) as used in the later A11 device. I did notice a similar forum thread a few weeks ago, but no reply to offers from the original poster.

I'm also looking for a proper US AC adapter for this device... I have a cobbled-together one that seems to work, but you never know with AC adapters.

Thanks a bunch!

Welcome!

If your Cassiopeia has infra red port, you can use infra red to sync as well.

It does, and I've tested it by syncing between the 2400W and a Pocket PC.

Unfortunately, neither my desktop machine nor my laptop machine have IR ports.

So the current drill is "sync from laptop to the Pocket PC via serial, then sync Pocket PC to the 2400W via IR".

Tedious, to say the least.

tlesher,

You could look at getting yourself a very inexpencive USB IR adapter for Laptop / PC's

We have a crash guide on IR here which you may be interested in:

How about looking in the support section first, where it already tells you? ...Just like C:Amie said.
