yeah. i've known that for a while now.. but when there's a different kind of timeout message and on reloading the thread i can't see my post, now that's misleading! understatement!

found interesting thing on my j620 running linux with IceWM Xwindows manager - the battery runs longer then in WinCE. will try another managers - but it is significant

hello i recently came into the owenership of a hp jornada 680e and was just wondering is there was summone out there i could trust enough to port the linux ver to a cf card for me as i do not know terminal linux commands to well and ubuntu is a pain and wont let me saying somthing to the affect of user denied i tried entering sudo and logging in as root no deal please help you can contact me on aim bigxalxforge thanks al

Ive been trying to find someone who could make me a CF card with this stuff on it, some of this shit just aint coming back :-(

Would love to run something other than CE :-)

Quite the necro.
Making the CF card yourself isn't very expensive or hard. You need a 256mb+ CF card (which are cheap nowadays), Linux, which can be booted with liveboot (and I think a VM would work), and CF adapter if your computer doesn't have a slot.
