HPC:Factor Today

Today, tomorrow, yesterday. If you keep a busy PIM it can be difficult to hold an overview over everything that is going on in your diary. Microsoft Outlook is a useful tool for this, but if you have ever used it, you will know that its PIM overview feature Outlook Today is tired and dated.

No more!

Now you can extend HPC:Factor into Outlook with our new HPC:Factor Today plug-in for Outlook. HPC:Factor Today replaces the standard Today page with a new, HPC:Factor inspired design, some improvements and new features!

  • New Outlook Today Interface

  • RSS Feed Support!

  • Bug fixes to the Microsoft Today screen application

  • Fast access to your most prevalent Task and Calendar events

  • Customisable overview of 'New E-Mail' Folders

  • One stop location for creating new Outlook Objects!

  • Updated Settings & Configuration screen

  • Available as an authorised plug-in to Outlook

HPC:Factor Today is available immediately for Outlook 2003 users. We have Outlook 2000 and XP versions ready also, but we are looking for a couple of testers just to ensure that we have ironed the bugs out of them before we make them publicly available. If you would like to participate in the test, please let us know.

HPC:Factor Today is free to download, and is being released under a commercial (but entirely optional) Donorware license.

More Info & Download: HPC:Factor Today

Thanks

It's certainly an improvment over what was there before, in my opinion.

I trust that the RSS is working alright for you?

Good news! I've got the Outlook 2000 and significantly Outlook XP bugs ironed out.

You can now download them from the source page: http://www.hpcfactor.com/qlink/?linkID=157

The Outlook 2000 version includes a Outlook bug fix too - by downloading you're opting in to have that installed. Outlook Today doesn't work without it!

This is the first time I've been able to use my plug-in in Outlook XP, it has taken me along time to get it working under this version of Outlook.
If you were wondering, I have been personally using this plug-in since V2 RTM'd back in February. I never used to use Today before that time.

Outlook Express does not have the API set required for it. Didn't you get full Outlook with your H/PC?
