| You can't really change the appearance of the Start menu or taskbar without using a third-party application like those two. Sorry. |

| Another unit, another desktop, this time, a hell of a lot more messier than the rest of them (I am quite organised actually and I don't think having graphical shortcuts for programs that have their on keys assigned to them is worth the hassle! );
This is before the cleanup. |

Not bad.
I can imagine the sparks flying off the shoes as the shoes make contact with the conductor rail! |

| What's it like being famous?
Come on people! There must be someone out there who has made some new skins for anything to do a with a H/PC app, or taken some shots that look good as wallpapers. Share and share alike ;-) |

| Alright then!
(Resized for our HPC viewers, 800x600 was just too much for the thread I think. ) Edited by abyssknight 2006-02-25 1:13 PM

| Here's the new desktop for my Mobilepro 890:
And a close-up of the CE logo:
For whatever reason, the logo seems to always catch somebody's attention at work or in a cafe.
I modified the original wallpaper--I wish I could remember the designer's name--and reduced it to 256 colors for a smaller memory footprint (the image didn't degrade very much, at least at 800x600 ). Edited by alphacrumb 2006-03-09 2:30 PM

| It is actually a mod of Digital Blasphemy's Fluorescence. There is a HVGA rendered version of the original muhrooms in the Themes section. I am not familiar with the background image, but there is a good chance that it has something to do with DB as well.
Like the use of the code name, good idea.
Edit: Shameless copy attached.
Original unknown (possible NASA), Windows CE logo made by yours truely. |

| Sweet!
Was Galileo also a codename? It sounds familiar... |
