nav-cam 2007 question

trying to get something to run on an old navcam 2007 (US version)
got tt7.45 to run, but when loading US map 720.1803 it locks up a says "out of memory"

does anyone know where you can still get the version 6 and US map to work in this unit??

and any ideas where to get them??

also do you know of any tomtom voice player, that will allow you to play/test voices on your PC

There are no free TomTom maps available anywhere...legally that I know of.

You can however use Google maps with your TomTom device for free. To download USA maps for TomTom from Google Maps, you will need to install TomTom Home first. It is a free download from the TomTom website. Then go to Google Maps and search for the map location for which you want to download. When you find the correct location, click the drop-down arrow to the right of it and click Send To. Select GPS in the left pane of the Send To window. Select TomTom in the Brand list. TomTom Home will launch.

For the newest version that will run with TomTom 6...suggest you ask for assistance at the TomTom website. I'm sure they know the answers.

I have a Mio Moov 560 running TomTom 7.450 and iGO Navigator 8.3, it's an awesome Windows CE 5 device. As I can see you live in the USA, because you we're asking for the USA maps. That is ilegall, but rules have been made to be broken. Anyway, for the US the best software for you is iGO, because it has a lot more features than TomTom. I'm a GPS expert, then you can trust me. If you want something better I suggest you to get iGO Primo, that is the best GPS navigation software on the earth!

I have a Windows CE 6.0 device with 7" screen and I run IGO Primo on it, and I think it is the best software I have seen so far. IGO 8.4 is a very close runner up.
