Nah, sounds more like one of those palmtops, OQO and Flipstart, but runs MacOS X instead.

About time Apple gets back to the PDA (which they created and named).

i kinda have hopes for this one. i hope that it turns out to be just right. they say it's pocketable. but it's gonna use mac's new digital ink (unofficial name) technology, which they haven't used in any of their products yet, so we can assume that the screen size is pretty decent. and it's gonna have a keyboard. sum all of that up and we should get something that's just right.

it would be the dumbest thing ever if Apple tries to create another Palm(R)-style PDA, and i don't think Apple is this dumb. really people have just become aware of the keyboard/large screen necessity, and that's the direction now.

Apple has been the coach of PDA makers like takwu said. now that PDA makers lost track, i hope that apple is coming back to show them the right way.

Sounds good to me! ... just hope they price it in the same league as Macmini and shuffle! That will make me jumpship!!!

ok, I promise I will still keep my 790 ...

Just like a modern eMate!!! I would even take the old one, or a newton gladly for that matter. The new apple devices always amazed me, except for (cough, cough) OS X.

Lol I feel the same Snappy! ...But there is no way that I am getting rid of my fabulous 720...

Is this a real pic, or just one made off of the descriptions given by apple? I like the ruggedized look...

LOL I know, I know. I had a major brain glitch for a second when I wrote that.

-YES I know the difference between an Emate and a Newton! (But I bought my 720 instead of either)
