lol, I know, trust me to be awkward! My serial cable won't work, the modem won't work on mains lol. And to top it all off the stylus actually snapped in half as I was HOLDING it today! no bending, or pressure, just plain snapped!
The HPC gods don't like me! but I love them

same here, 7-8 hours instead of 9. but it isn't that bad

Dial up is actually not that much different than DSLfor browsing on my 720 - as with DSL it is shoved the pages very quickly, and the processor is stuck at 100% for a bit trying to display the page.


just try netfront... it's a lot faster (mostly) and doesn't eat the cpu like IE does

I know that opinions vary on this topic but as far as I'm concerned, I much prefer cable to DSL. I was on DSL before and had nothing but trouble - regular, daily system crashes, frequent slowdown where surfing would come to a screeching halt, or closed to it... I've had cable now since December, haven't had a crash once, haven't noticed ANY deterioration whatsoever. Cheers!


yes opinions vary! depends on your location (and isp?). we have a really bad cable internet and a good dsl here in hungary. luckily i'm on dsl!

oh, I use wifi with my HPC ... that's the very whole point to be able to surf the web *anywhere* with a supra-portable device right? ... right?
