I hope this is not old news, but HTC has it's new Ameo (or X7500) on the market. With a 5 inch screen, running windows mobile 5 (or 6) and with a keyboard attached by a magnetic strip it is a quite extraorinary device. But why on earth didn't they just make a clamshell? It seems that the magnetic strip can wipe your the info from your cards. I'm curious what you think of it.
I guess they figure you have extra portability with the option of separating the two parts. But why not snap or clamp on instead of using magnets? I agree fully about the risk to memory cards.
