Changelog: H/PC Community Forums

This changelog outlines the kernel modification and changes made to the original PD9 Forum core here on HPC:Factor.

The changelog includes bug fixes, updates, patches, enhancements and cosmetic changes to the board. It does not included forum content changes.

2.2.2.8 (2007-12-03)
- Fixed the Tab order on the form elements of the logon page
- Improved memory footprint during session creation, transaction and teardown during the logon process
- Bug Fix: When you logged onto the forum, and got the username, password or verification code incorrect. The logon process would relay you back to the log-in page after a second or subsequent successful login attempt. This was due to an error in the session parser. Login attempt > 1 will now return you to the page where you initially clicked "logon" or if it really gets lost it will return you to the board root.

- Bug fix: Fixed long running PD9 bug where people entering blank web addresses in their profile would automatically receive a protocol only link and be forced to display a website button to nowhere on their post communication readout.

- Complete re-write of the "Your Settings" Control Panel area, with a new streamlined interface

- Changes have been made to the captcha system on the site in an attempt to reduce the recent spate of highly upsetting SPAM posts that we have been seeing. For security reasons specific details surrounding these changes will not be released. Please rest assured that we are just as disgusted and appaled by the activities of these minorities as you are, and do not for an instant deem it to be acceptable.
