You should have the sync centre running, WMDC 6.1 installed and the driver. If you have all three, try a different USB port.

Please forgive my ignorance if this is obvious to everyone else, but what am I supposed to do with this driver after downloading it? There is no .exe to run. Does it have to be placed somewhere specific, such as the same folder as the WMDC executable file?

I have upgraded to WMDC version 6.1 and downloaded your 64-bit driver. My computer found my J720 and supposedly set up the partnership, but I only get an "Error" window when I try to sync.

Please help!

If you have got as far as the partnership creation then Windows has found the driver and it's all setup. You can delete it now.

What is the error code?

Well, after trying everything under the sun to get the thing to sync last night, today I hook it up and it syncs like they were made for each other. Perhaps because I disconnected everything last night, then re-connected just now?

Anyway, thanks very much for the help. I REALLY appreciate it!

I'm sorry, I stand corrected. I have Activesync. Can I get my Jornada 720 to sync with a Vista PC? How would I do it?

Thanks for your help,

Ron

Are there any issues synchronizing a H/P Jornada 720 with Outlook 2007?

Thank you for your help,

Hi - I've spent the whole evening trying to set up my Jornada 720 (that I haven't used since my desktop died) to work with my laptop that is on Vista. I have got as far as this webpage and downloaded the driver but don't know where to save it to or what else to do (haven't used Jornada for 18 months). Any guidance would be really welcome as I want to lend it to a friend travelling overseas on Monday. Thanks. Quite frustrated!!!
