re: jornada 720 -- 32 mb

i have a sandisk 512 mb cf which works well with linux.
i have a dane-elec 4 gb cf which also works well.
i have a norcent 256 mb cf (windows reads this as toshiba256) which loads opie then fails after little use, it will not load gre, stalls at kernel panic, can't find init.
i have read that there maybe some id and boot sector location issues with some cards -- can this be addressed somehow or is my norcent 256 cf worthless?

Yeah, send an email to kristoffer. I believe he has something that allows you to read the ID number of your card. If you get that number to him, he can add it to the kernel, and the card should load.
