I apologize if this has been asked and/or answered before, but I cannot search the forums (always get site error when I try a search--tried it in Firefox, Netscape, IE, and Opera).

Anyway, does anyone know of a chm reader that works on the 900c? Thanks!

and you could port it to not require any libraries... One thing I've been meaning to do but haven't got around to it yet...

lol, no idea what you mean
If you are talking about advanced stuff there's a app I found that reports to deconstruct .chm so that you can make them into the html format that CE uses for help files. Its a trialware though but if its only a handful of .chms you could blast through them before the trial expires.

There is another relatively new and cool CHM-reader: MICROOLAP CHM eBook Reader for Pocket PC http://www.microolap.com/products/pda/chmreader/

The thing is very nice and I have used it with deep satisfaction on the PPC. But unfortunately I cannot get it working on my NETBOOK PRO - the program attempts to show CHM and hangs. Execheck does not find problems, so I stuck on this point...

In Chinese PDA/HPC community, a HPC version of chmreader has been there for a long time.
I think it's just the "codeproject" chmreader ported by a Chinese programmer.

I will upload it when I'm home.

Do you mean this one?

I was able to run the PPC 2002 version on my NetbookPRO, it has quite rusty look and does not support cyrillics, but finally this is the only CHM reader which I can get running.

I guess he does - it wouldn't be too difficult to remove the PocketPC shell stuff from there, especially as the source is provided...

Wow, this one is significantly better. Thanks a lot!
Does not support cyrillic files, though...

Ok, this exe launches and the program appears to open fine, but it will not load any .chm file. File---->Open--->does nothing. Did you experience this? If so, do you know the fix (or anyone for that matter). Thanks!
