I doubt NThelL would know what a RAR or a TAR are - given their level of technical capability.

--Hahah I take it that Nick knows what I will be doing? :-P

Hi Sorry have been on a long duty callout ..So am sorry for no comments, The Archives seems to have no interest and other than what I retrieved from Joes site have NO other software as yet so ANY help would be most welcome.... If no further interest soom there will be no point to the archive..

regards
Andrew

You have to apprecaite that CE1 only lasted 11 months, and the development environment wasn't free, as a result there isn't all that much in the way of CE1 software, especially freeware.

Have you looked for the C140 ROM upgrade on eBay?

I understand about the software issue with ce1 but no one has even offered to help (other thans yourselves) not even an email. As for C140 upgrade I don't have the time to keep checking ebay etc so always miss out. But if one was on offer and cheap would have it. But has to be reasonable in cost as the machine was free so can't justife cost really.I have 32 Psions and this is my main area and will spend money there.I have a Jornda 690e an Ipaq 3870, Even several Palm devices.Several smart phones and to that 6 gps I have a fair amount of tech stuff.SO if you see a c140cheap and wouldn't have to bid for let me know...

regards
Andrew

Well guess trying to setup an archive for CE1 software is a damp squid. No one has offered help by sending software etc and as I can't better the Joe site I may as well forget trying to help. Sorry folks but thats life....

Andrew
