HPC:Factor is committed to protecting the privacy and security of users to
our site. The majority of the content on the web site is accessible to users
without the need to provide personal information. There are instances however,
that in order to provide requested services we need to collect information about
you, the user, to properly provide the service.
This privacy statement explains how that data will be collected and used
in those situations.
Collecting Personal Information
hpcfactor.com will only request personal information that is deemed relevant
to properly provide a service. Generally this information will be in the form
of your name and e-mail address if you are requesting for a service or requesting
information.
For example: If you wish to enter a competition we will require your name and
e-mail address in order to correctly enter you into the competition.
hpcfactor.com does not collect personal information via our web site that
could jeopardise the financial security of our users.

necessary to adequately fulfil the request of users, or to provide an efficient
service to our users.
hpcfactor.com does not make use of third party Internet services and thus all

the Data Protection Act 1984 (Rev 1998) laws of the United Kingdom.
hpcfactor.com does enlist web site statistical monitoring to collect information
on visitor numbers and other such statistical information. This information
is used for internal purposes only.
For Example: Information on a user's IP Address is collected to allow a total
of unique visitors who have visited the hpcfactor.com site to be recorded.

States of America. This information includes, for example credit card details.
Users should be aware that HPC:Factor is a transatlantic non-profit organisation.
As such we have server facilities in both the United States of American and
in the United Kingdom. In matters of legal precedence the laws of the country
where the information is hosted will take precedence.
Use of Cookies
The hpcfactor.com main site itself does not make use of cookies, however visitors
who make use of our forums service will receive a session cookie as part of
their log-in. A facility to delete all hpcfactor.com issued cookies is available
to all users in the forum.
Disabling the use of cookies in your Internet browser, or using W3C privacy
measures will not affect the use of the hpcfactor.com or the forum, however
will require all forum users to repeatedly log-in after each session.
