Pocket DOS has been updated once again with new and improved features. Pocket DOS enables Handheld PC users to run virtually any DOS application directly on their device. What's new in 1.08.0:
  • Adds Windows Mobile/Pocket PC 2003 support
  • Adds new user interface for Pocket PC and Windows Mobile devices
  • Adds built-in console driver for running the Windows CE Command Prompt and Windows CE console applications under PocketDOS
  • Adds support for Transcriber, Calligrapher and external keyboards
  • Enables Direct Screen Access (GameX/GAPI) by default for improved display performance
  • Corrects communication port handshaking issues with some applications that resulted in the application not being able to transmit data
  • Corrects keyboard BIOS compatibility issues with some applications
  • Corrects bug in mouse driver that resulted in the mouse driver being disabled after exiting some applications
  • Corrects BIOS timer bug that resulted in some applications
    displaying the incorrect date if date is changed on device while PocketDOS is running
  • Corrects CPU bug that resulted in some debugger applications not running correctly under PocketDOS
Pocket DOS, opens up an entirely new area for Handheld PC users. Pocket DOS is compatible with All Windows CE Handheld PC's from version 1.0 to the latest 4.2 .net devices and costs $39.95 USD (£33.02 GBP, €37.97 EUR, ¥5,964.44 JPY est.) which includes a DOS license.
