SoftMaker PlanMaker H/PC Public Beta

Handheld PC News

Posted 20 years ago | News | Chris Tilley 0 comments

SoftMaker dropped me a line today letting me know that they have released the first of the public beta's for PlanMaker. Beta 5 is designed for use on StrongArm and XScale devices ONLY.

A SH3, SH4 and MIPS build 'may' be forthcoming. There are a number of issues related to compiling for these processors, especially with the PlanMaker code and SuperH processors. If you'd like to see a build for SuperH or MIPS I suggest you drop SoftMaker a quick e-mail.

For those unfamiliar with PlanMaker, it is a desktop standard Spreadsheet application for the Handheld PC (and others). It is 100% compatible with Microsoft Excel 5.0 right up to 2003 and includes full calculation, line-art and graphing capabilities.
