Windows Media Player 10 Expected TomorrowHandheld PC News Posted 19 years ago | News | Chris Tilley 0 comments
Microsoft are widely expected to launch their new on-line music service tomorrow, with the unveiling of Windows Media Player 10. As we reported here on HPC:Factor last month in our first look at the player. The beta version of Windows Media Player 10 is able to support the Handheld PC in a limited way. We hope that this support will remain in the final release.
In the mean time, for users of Windows Media Player 9, and undoubtedly users of Windows 9, Millennium and 2000 who wont receive the new player - at least initially. We have created an update to Windows Media Encoder that will enable the conversion of most natively supported Windows music files, as well as music files with unsupported bit-rates Allowing full support on the Handheld PC Microsoft music player.
