We're back-up and running now. Thank-you to everyone who contacted us with support.
This has been a difficult time for us. Having had a large amount of the site re-posted on a Korean website, under their own name. They were also having us pay for the bandwidth they were using. We had no choice but to close down the site for a few days so we could take stock and respond without causing bandwidth problems and expense that goes with it. Users may have seen some of HPC:Factor's articles posted through RSS syndication on other sites over the last 3 days. This was again down to the Korean site involved, who syndicated our content from their own site. These articles are original works submitted to - or created by the HPC:Factor team, be assured that we are pursing the position of our copyright on the documents with all effort. While HPC:Factor was by far the most exploited site used by the Korean web page. We were able to count and contact 13 other mobile device sites from various communities who were also being exploited. Once such site is the well known the-gadgeteer.com. Be assured that we contacted all of the sites affected and are working with them on the problem.
