Total Commander 2.0 ReleasedHandheld PC News Posted 18 years ago | News | Chris Tilley 0 comments
Christian Ghisler of C. Ghisler & Co may not be a name you're familiar with from the Handheld PC community. Though mention the name of his primary product and most Handheld PC users will instantly know its name.
Total Commander is a fully featured replacement file manager for an array of devices and PC platforms, including Windows CE. Aimed to provide a more familiar interface and to restore some of the missing functionality from the Windows CE Explorer, Total Commander is already a much praised application, and with this new release, it really does live up to its name. Along with the dual view file/folder browser, and Infrared transfer support through the Desktop standard IrOBEX protocol (something lacking from the H/PC). The new version 2.0 release now includes a FTP client, Registry viewer/editor and LAN browser support. Total Commander 2.0 will run under any H/PC with Windows CE 2.0 or above on MIPS, SH3, SH4, ARM, XSCALE processors. Most significantly, Total Commander for the Handheld PC is a freeware application release! View: C. Ghisler & Co Posted on 23 June 2005 at 00:00By Chris Tilley (C:Amie)
