If you are concerned with the performance and optimisation of your PC, then chances are you are no doubt baffled by the behaviour of Microsoft ActiveSync and to why Microsoft have taken the decision of whether or not to load the program out of your hands.

To combat this, Micrologics have long been the authors of a tool to place control of ActiveSync squarely back in the hands of its master. The freeware ActiveSync Toggle, now at version 1.0.4.0, provides a very simple user interface, allowing you to chose whether ActiveSync can self initialise after a reboot of your computer and allowing you to terminate the sync client without resorting to the Windows Task Manager.
