NS Basic/CE, the Visual Basic-like development tool for Windows and Windows CE has been updated with a new major release this evening.

The develop on device programming environment has been updated to include support for Windows CE 6.0, along with other enhancements, compatibility improvements and extended database platform support.

Upgrades are available to existing NSB customers starting at $49.95 USD (£26.50 GBP, €38.00 EUD, ¥5300 JPY est.) with a single user license costing $149.95 USD (£79.00 GBP, €113 EUD, ¥15800 JPY est.). Customers who purchased NS Basic/CE after November 1, 2006 will receive the upgrade at no cost.
