![]() Windows CE is making a splash in the UMPC world currently with another manufacturer unveiling an entry product in the CE based UMPC arena.
The Compal device, unveiled on the companies stand at COMPUTEX 2007 features a 16-bit, 800x480, Freescale's i.MX31 532MHz Multi-media processor, ARM1136 CPU, 256MB DDR memory and 512MB NAND flash memory all running under Windows CE 5.0. The device also boasts 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, HSDPA a 1.3 MegaPixel camera. More information on the device is expected before its release which is slated for the end of this year moving into early 2008.
