GAPI 4.00 for Windows CE Released

GAPI has hit another milestone this week with the release of version 4 of the runtime edition by WinCESoft.

Release highlights for version 4 include:
  • Support for 95 new devices added
  • PocketPC- keyboard mapping
  • GAPI- graphics and touchscreen- coordinates can be rotated independently from the desktop
  • GAPI graphics 2x- scale added
  • Touch coordinates can be scaled
  • GAPI emulator added to provide support for unlisted devices
  • Individually configurable GAPI application profiles
  • Two new GapiDraw test applications added
  • Context sensitive help added
  • Bugfixes, tweaks and general enhancements
StrongArm/XScale binaries of GAPI for Handheld PC's version 4.0 can be downloaded from WinCESoft for free as of this week.
