Channel 8 has just posted a short 10 minute video by Christian Liensberger interviewing Microsoft France's Olivier Bloch from the Embedded Devices team. The video outlines current developments in the embedded systems space within Microsoft including XP Embedded and the venerable Windows Embedded CE.

The video is aimed at prospective developers, discusses development frameworks for the said Windows platforms - including some interesting insights into the cohesion between games development on the Microsoft XBOX and development of entertainment on Microsoft embedded systems. For non-techies the video takes a brief look at some of the latest trade-show devices and hints towards some significant announcements from Microsoft heading our way as we move into 2008.
