Around a month ago Chris Tilley wrote an editorial on the idea of running the Pocket PC Operating System on a Clamshell device. See original article.

That idea has taken a step towards becoming possible with Microsoft loosening the Pocket PC 2003 licensing regulations. This allows OEM's to supply the Pocket PC Operating System on a raft of new and innovative devices, including the most innovative of all... yes, you guessed it. The Clamshell.

We thought that Brighthand's Ed Hardy summed this up quite well, so take it away Ed.
