That means between all members computers have been running SETI@Home for an impressive 31.6 years! The H/PC Community SETI Group, run jointly between HPC:Factor, Handheld Addict, Clinton Fitch (dot) Com! and TT-Forums is a members area for the global scientific project SETI@Home. SETI@Home, which uses Radio Telescopes around the world to scan the heavens for evidence of Extra Terrestrial life. Is a small program that you run unintrusivly on your computer. It downloads 300KB Work Unit's from UC Berkeley in California, your computer processes the unit. Then relays a few KB of results back. You do not need to be connected to the Internet 24/7 to run SETI@Home. The community group is ranked well within the Top 3,000 SETI teams! If you are interested in running SETI and / or joining our team please see the links below. More Information: The H/PC Group Join Us!: Click Here
