CE Agenda Development to end

Handheld PC News

HyunKeun Cho developers of the much celebrated CE Agenda port of the Psion classic Agenda applications has announced to HPC:Factor that they will be ceasing development of the product.

Speaking with John Ottini, lead developer William Cho revealed that his efforts would be centred on creating a new PIM application suite for the Pocket PC sidelining CE Agenda development under the Handheld PC platform indefinitely.

Siting that "there will be no official update or add new functions to CE Agenda for HPC in the future" and rather apologetically HyunKeun will continue providing bug fix updates to the project when and if they are submitted by end users, at least for the foreseeable future.

This news will come as a shock to many Handheld PC users, cross platform who rely on CE Agenda to give them more than is offered through the Pocket Outlook suite.
