After an exhaustive development process spanning two years and numerous beta and release candidates. JLime, the open source Linux distribution for the hp 620LX, 660LX, Jornada 680(e) and 690(e) has made it to it's inaugural stable release.

Based on the Linux 2.6 kernel, and is becoming increasingly well featured, with over 3000 packages (software and library distributions) currently available.
The release is only for SH3 device, and primarily aimed at the Jornada. While there are some outstanding power management issues on the project, which continue to be looked into. The team will also be looking at expanding the supported device range - with a possible Jornada 700 release next on the agenda.

If you wish to discuss JLime, we have a thread on the forum where you can post questions on the new release which is being monitored by the JLime team!
