PocketDVD, the only DVD and ripping application to support the Handheld PC, that we reviewed exclusively here on HPC:Factor earlier in the has been upgraded. The Pocket DVD 3.0 release has received significant improvements, in the application design, in functionality, and it now has a new name.

DVD Catalyst, is a revolutionary leap for the program, including enhanced device support ranging from the Handheld PC, to the Pocket PC and all the way through to the new iPod Video and PSP. Handheld PC functionality remains a key part of the application, and the DVD Catalyst are keen that it remain an integral part of the program both now, and into the future. For users familiar with the older PocketDVD, the process of creating that all important Screen Rating value has been automated, meaning there is no longer any need for performing a manual calculation. Only one of many significant improvements in this release.
