More details emerge on the Clearview 'XL43'

Reported exclusively for the first time earlier in the month here on HPC:Factor. We can now reveal more details more details on the hardware specification of the Windows CE 5.0 based Clearview device currently known as the “XL43”.

  • CPU: AMD AU1250 600MHz
  • Storage: 1.8” 20GIG HDD
  • Memory: 128 MEG DDR2 RAM and 32 MEG NAND Flash
  • Camera: 1.3M Pixel with internal Flash (SVGA)
  • Connectivity: BLUETOOTH, SD, MMC, USB 2.0
  • WI-FI: 100MBps Wireless Connection
  • GPS: Receiver and Antenna
  • TV Tuner: DVB-T USB dongle
  • FM Radio
  • Audio: Internal Stereo Speaker (0.5W+0.5W)
  • Battery: Built-in Li-polymer 4000mA
  • Video Playback Resolution: Max. 720 * 480
  • Video Playback frame rage: Max. 30fps
  • Video playback time: 6 Hrs
  • Audio playback time: 12 Hrs
  • Size: 145 * 83 * 26
  • Weight: 310 (g)
Based upon this specification, it is clear that the XL43 is placed to be one of the most powerful Windows CE based consumer devices on the market, and certainly has a hardware specification to live up to that aim.
