Windows CE 5.0 is certainly enjoying a renaissance at the moment, with yet another so called UMPC being slated for released based upon the Windows CE .net replacement.

Pengfa Electronic's of China' Emanuel runs on the back of a 400 MHz ARM926 'up to 8GB or NAND flash' and a 4.3" TFT Touch Screen with an operating resolution of 480x272 pixels (although in yet another example of manufacturers discrediting themselves they have chosen to overlay a bitmapped screenshot instead of showing the consumer what their screens really look like).

By the look of the initial press information, the device offers users the standard and most inauspicious Windows CE 5.0 shell, but does appear to have a keyboard/mouse combination for docking purposes.

The device is currently scheduled for release in November, with an initial price tag stated by the Pengfa representative of around €200 EUD.

A English language promotional video of the device is available at the link below showcasing the device at a recent tradeshow.
