Ink Spot CE UpdatedHandheld PC News Posted 20 years ago | News | Chris Tilley 0 comments
DejaVu Software's Ink Spot CE is a News Group (Usenet) reader for Windows CE based mobile devices. Ink Spot has been updated to ver 1.14r3 adding support for additional device types.
The update is an interim service update to update support for the latest P/PC devices. Ink Spot allows you to take full advantage of your Windows CE device's portability and Internet connectivity. Instead of being tied to your workstation for net news, you can download it and read on the train, waiting in line, or while someone else uses your workstation. Crucually the update is the first work carried out on Ink Spot since March 2001. This is most welcome, seeing development resume on a program is excellent news for the entire Windows CE community. Ink Spot is available for all Windows CE based Handheld PC's running Windows CE 2.0 and above. A trial restricting the client to 25 messages can be downloaded from the DejaVu Software web site. Registration costs $25 US. View: DejaVu Soft Posted on 29 September 2003 at 10:00By Chris Tilley (C:Amie)
